Every fourth Monday of the month a group from the church feeds homeless veterans. The time rotates from lunch to dinner every month. If you are interested in helping, call the church office at 253-7301, and we will get you in contact with the right people.

The Mountain Area Radio Reading Services (MARRS), a local non-profit that provides daily reading of local newspapers to the blind and visually impaired is looking for volunteers to read the local newspapers daily via the radio, deliver radio’s to listeners, manage recording sessions, or to present our message to others in the community. MARRS is centrally-located, in a ground floor office in downtown Asheville. There is ample free parking in the deck behind Pack Library, which is across the street from the MARRS office.
